Do you wish to notify a co-worker about an important deadline or to encourage them to join a discussion? In activeCollab, you can do that by using Reminders.

There are two kinds of reminders in activeCollab:

  • Nudges - Instant reminders that send an email notification to a specific user or a group of users.
  • Reminders - Scheduled notifications sent on a specific date and time to a single user or a group of users.

Reminders are available for Milestones, Tasks, Discussions, Files, Notebooks and Notebook Pages. Open Options and click Nudge or Set a Reminder, then enter the reminder details:

As you can see, each Reminder or Nudge allows you to include a personalized Comment, where you can provide additional information, or explain why you are sending the reminder.

Note for Self-Hosted Version Users

Reminders require Scheduled Tasks to be set up and triggered periodically. If you have not configured Scheduled Tasks correctly, your reminder may not be sent on time.
