Creating Tasks
Tasks are the basic building blocks of activeCollab and represent the necessary steps for completing a Project. A Task can be assigned and can contain any number of comments, attachments or Subtasks, and much more. You will be able to use Tasks in each of your Projects.
It is really easy to create a new Task:
Open Tasks within a Project.
Click the New Task link.
Enter the Task Title and the Description and set the Category, Milestone, Label, Priority, and Assignees.
Click the Add Task button.
To create a new Task on the go, use the Quick Add tool in the bottom left corner of the activeCollab interface.
In case you wish to incorporate additional details in your Tasks, you can add up to three Custom Fields. To enable custom fields, go to Administration > Tasks Settings > Change Settings and name the custom fields that you wish to add.
